I may be late to the game with this, but I’m always looking for ways to grow my pokedex and this one is pretty cool. Everyone knows about the trick to evolve your evee’s in to certain ones from the original release… well with the Gen2 update, you can add two more to that.
Naming your Evee Tamao before evolving it will get you an Umbreon and naming it Sakura will evolve an Espeon.
If you’re interested in the Eevee name tricks of the past, you can name your Eevee Sparky, Pyro, or Rainer before evolution in order to guarantee a Jolteon, Flareon, and Vaporen, respectively.
