Anyone Else Experiencing This:

Since this is the only gathering of minds around LinkedIn I’m relatively certain on the level, apologies if this isn’t within the intended subject matter.

.Basically over the past 3 months I get these solicitations out of the blue from recruiters on Linkedin *but not via* Linkedin who pitch me a job that looks like the requirements were taken from my CV. And inevitably they *all* keep pushing me to some resume expert.

The kicker is I will contact the recruiter via Linkedin and they tell me they aren’t contacting me through any medium.

Is this an elaborate ruse by resume services to drum up business? FWIW, I actually just had my resume redone so this latest recruiter steering me to a service seems suspect.
